How to Unlock the Deadbolt

There are a few ways you can unlock the BenjiLock Deadbolt -

1. Enter a “User Code” or the “Programming Code” and press “#”.
   (By default, the BenjiLock Deadbolt has a security feature enabled on the LCD panel that helps obscure your fingerprint pattern. This is called the “Clearing Code”. Four random positions will appear on the screen; they must be cleared by touching the illuminated positions in any order before entering a User Code.
2. Press a programmed finger against the fingerprint sensor for a couple of seconds.
3. Use the physical key.

LOCKOUT FEATURE – If a wrong User Code, or a non-registered print, is entered four times consecutively, the lock will emit a 10-second beep, and the keypad and fingerprint sensor will be disabled for 1 minute after the 10-second beep stops.
