Your BenjiLock® By Hampton arrives partially charged.

To ensure the best experience, we recommend that you charge your BenjiLock fully (60-90 min) before you begin programming.

To charge your BenjiLock

1. Remove included USB cable from package.
2. Connect the USB cable to the BenjiLock (bottom) and to a standard USB input.
3. Note the RED LED on the top of your BenjiLock.
4. RED LED will turn off when the unit is fully charged.

Program your BenjiLock

Programming note: The steps to program are identical for each user. Press the silver button on the bottom of your unit (1-10 times). The LED on the top of your lock will flash to the corresponding position (1-10)

1. Wake up the lock: Touch the fingerprint sensor briefly and the BLUE LED screen light will flash.
2. Insert the key and turn counterclockwise until the BLUE LED screen light appears solid.
3. Press the silver button at the bottom of the lock one time.
4. Wait two seconds until the LED light flashes BLUE at the top of the lock.
5. The LED at the top of the lock will flash once for user 1.
6. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor until the BLUE LED at the top of the lock turns on and remove your finger after it turns off.
7. Repeat the previous step four more times with the same finger for a total of 5 times. On the fifth time, remove your finger once the BLUE LED at the top of the lock appears solid. The light will then blink multiple times indicating successful programming.
8. Close the shackle, remove the key, and your BenjiLock is programmed for one of its users.
9. Troubleshooting: If the LED at the top of the lock flashes RED, this means your fingerprint has not been recorded
10. Go back to step 1 and start over.

Add additional users to your BenjiLock

1. Wake up the lock: Touch the fingerprint sensor briefly and the BLUE LED screen light will flash.
2. Insert the key and turn counterclockwise until the BLUE LED screen light appears solid.
3. You now press the silver button at the bottom of the lock 2-10 times to correspond to the user you are programming.
4. Repeat all steps 4-7 from above.
5. The BLUE LED in step 4 will flash and correspond to the number of times you press the silver button (1-10).

To delete a user from your BenjiLock

1. Wake up the lock: Touch the fingerprint sensor briefly and the BLUE LED screen light will flash.
2. Insert the key and turn counterclockwise
3. Press and hold the silver button on the bottom of the lock until the RED LED at the top of the lock flashes.
4. Release button.
5. Press the silver button the number of times (position number you wish to erase).
6. RED LED at the top of the lock will flash on top of lock. That persons fingerprint is now erased.

To do a Master Reset (erasing all fingerprints)

1. Wake up the lock: Touch the fingerprint sensor briefly and the BLUE LED screen light will flash.
2. Insert the key and turn counterclockwise
3. Press and hold the silver button on the bottom of the lock until the RED LED at the top of the lock flashes.
4. Release button.
5. Again…Press and hold the silver button on the bottom of the lock until the RED LED at the top of the lock flashes. All fingerprints in the lock are now erased.
